Manui privacy policy

Manui keeps your event tickets on your phone and hides their barcodes until you reveal them. Nothing you put in Manui ever leaves your device.

What we collect

Nothing. Manui has no account, no server, no analytics, no crash reporting and no ads. It makes no network requests; on Android the store version does not even have permission to use the internet.

What stays on your device

The tickets you import (Wallet passes, screenshots, photos and PDFs), their details and your settings are stored only inside the app's private storage. Ticket data is encrypted with a key kept in the iOS Keychain or Android Keystore. Barcode detection and text reading run on the device. On Android, Manui is excluded from device backups.

Permissions

Manui only reads the photos, files or passes you choose to import, through the system pickers or the share sheet. It does not use the camera, microphone, location or contacts.

Deleting your data

Delete a ticket in the app, or uninstall Manui to remove everything.

Children

Manui is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version is published on this page.
